Emerald Reserve

Emerald is the NEW currency. A bank, an auction house and player payments. Every balance is backed by deposited emeralds.

Server-side only

Players join with a vanilla client. 
Menus are vanilla chests & messages are plain chat.

Bank

• /reserve deposit \[all|amount\]\ - put emeralds and emerald blocks into your balance
• /reserve withdraw <amount>\ - take them back out
• /reserve send <player> <amount>\ (or /pay\) - pay a player, online or not
• /reserve balance \[player\]\ (or /bal\) - check a balance
• /reserve top\ - richest players

Auction house

• /ah sell <price>\ - sell the item in your hand
• /ah\ - browse, sort, change page
• /ah search <text>\ - find an item
• /ah mine\ - your listings, click one to take it back
• Every purchase asks for confirmation.
• Listings last 48 hours.

Delivery box

In case of full inventory - items wait in the delivery box.
/reserve claim\ to collect them.

Coming from Diamond Economy

/reserve import\ brings old balances over. It shows a preview first.

• Diamonds to diamonds: 1:1.
• Any other currency: the admin picks a rate, e.g. `/reserve import factor 3`.
• Runs once per world.

Configuration

config/emeraldreserve.json\

• Currency: emerald by default, diamond if you want something rarer. 
  [!] It cannot change once a world has balances [!]
• Auction: listings per player, duration, max price, optional tax (destroyed, not paid to anyone).
• Commands: /ah\, /bal\ and /pay\ can be turned off.

Data

Saved in <world>/emeraldreserve/\, with a crash-safe journal and an audit log. Back it up with your world.
