Description
Emblem Studios: Additons
Emblem Additions aims to add a fun selection of blocks that play off of vanilla content where it feels underused. There are ambitious goals for the future but currently it mainly adds to Quartz and overworld blocks.
Version 0.1 "Blocky Beginnings":
BLOCKS:
Stone Bricks now have a pillar variant. As well, chiseled and pillar will have cracked variants. Cracked Stone Bricks also have stairs, slab, and wall variants.
Cobbled Deepslate, Bricks, and tiles will now have mossy variants. Cracked bricks and tiles will have stairs, slab, and wall variants.
Clay Bricks now have mossy, cracked, and a unique "ruined" variant, all with stairs, slabs, and walls.
Dripstone now has a full blockset with polished, bricks, chiseled bricks, along with assorted stairs, slabs, and walls.
Andesite, Diorite, and Granite have the following additions: Polished walls, bricks with stairs, slabs and walls, and chiseled bricks.
Prismarine now has polished blocks with stairs, slabs and walls, as well as walls for bricks and dark prismarine.
Elder Guardians now drop elder prismarine shards, which can be crafted into a new set of blocks with everything that prismarine has.
Quartz bricks now have stairs and slabs.
Rose quartz can be found in the nether and made into a matching quartz set.
Smoky quartz can be found in the nether and also has all the same blocks as the original quartz.
Soul quartz can be obtained in a unique way by "haunting" quartz blocks (this interaction is still WIP), and crafted into a full set of quartz blocks.
Amethyst can now be made into a polished block, and with the polished blocks has a similar set of blocks to quartz.
You can mix any two types of quartz items or blocks (including amethyst) to get quartz tiles of that combo. (Use the quartz chisel or hold shift when placing to flip the direction they tile in)
You can pack 9 blaze rods into a blaze block.
ITEMS:
Moss clump, which can be used to apply moss to any valid block. You can also scrape mossy blocks to refund a moss clump.
Elder prismarine shard, dropped from elder gaurdians.
Nether rose quartz, comes from rose quartz ore in the Nether, or obtained from bartering. Can be used to trim armor.
Nether smoky quartz, comes from smoky quartz ore in the Nether, or obtained from bartering. Can be used to trim armor.
Soul quartz, a mysterious version of quartz. Can be used to trim armor.
Blank smithing template, can be used to duplicate any trim smithing template. (Currently unobtainable in survival)
Quartz Chisel, a chisel item which can be used to flip quartz tiles, create ruined bricks, or turn quartz blocks into one type quartz tiles.
WORLD GEN CHANGES:
Quartz no longer generates in crimson or warped forests, but generates double in soul sand valleys.
Rose quartz generates most commonly in crimson forests, as well as appearing in nether wastes and basalt deltas.
