Ecstatic

Ecstatic is an LOD mod that is (sort of) tailored to lower end machines, giving you extremely far render distances by generating lower quality terrain at further distances. 

I made Ecstatic because other LOD mods (while better looking) force themselves to generate the entirety of chunks that they want to display, which not only takes an absurd amount of time, but eats up RAM. Ectstatic uses a different approach, where instead of actually generating faraway chunks, random points across the seed are sampled for biome and altitude to form terrain geometry. 

This not only makes generating LOD terrain cheaper, but rendering it too since low poly meshes are extremely easy to render.

At this stage in development, shaders are strongly advised against. Adding shaders is a much bigger project given the way iris exposes its phase system and also the sheer volume of edge cases. If you are dead set on using shaders, Potato Shader looks the best so far, turn off fog in shader settings for best results. Shader support at this point in time is moreso to keep the screen from going black or terrain from not getting rendered rather than looking good.

This mod currently does work with terralith, sodium, and probably any other optimization mod.

Please tell me in the comments if there are any features you'd like to see or any bugs you find, any feedback is insanely appreciated this early on in development.
