Smelt Echo Shards to get Echo Soul and get your journey started.

Alive Soul Sand can be found in Soul Sand Valleys. You can also craft Alive Soul Sand by combining 4 Echo Soul with 1 Soul Sand.

Echo Shard Block can be found in Deep Dark biomes.

Alive Echo Soul can be traded through a Weaponsmith.

Echo Upgrade can be traded through a Weaponsmith or/and a Toolsmith.
