You should not have loaded this world.

You create a new world.

A normal Minecraft world. Normal generation. A normal first day.

But something is wrong.

When the world loads, a message appears:

foreign player.dat detected

Then another:

if this is not your world — leave now.

You're sure this is your world. You created it yourself.

So why has someone already lived here?

📁 THE ARCHIVE

ECHO ARCHIVE is a horror mod with ARG elements, built around the idea of abandoned saves, foreign worlds, and files that somehow survived their original owner.

As you explore the world, you begin to discover traces of an unknown session_0.

Foreign records.

Strange chests.

Graves.

Memory shards.

Fragments of an old world.

And a creature that behaves as if it has known you for much longer than you have known it.

The further you explore the archive, the stronger the feeling becomes that you're not simply investigating someone else's save.

You're becoming a part of it.

👁️ SOMETHING IS WATCHING

Entities may begin appearing in places where they shouldn't exist.

session_0 — a remnant of an old session that somehow continues to exist.

no_eyes — an unknown entity that seems to be learning how to observe the player.

Silhouettes — figures that resemble players, but clearly aren't.

Witness — a strange presence connected to the player themselves.

And sometimes...

hands.

They don't appear simply to scare you.

They know where you're going.

💾 THE FILES

Throughout your journey, you'll discover items connected to the archive:

• Memory Shards — fragments of foreign saves.

• archive.log — corrupted records belonging to session_0.

• world_alpha.dat — a file that opens a path to an old world.

• Last Note — the final note left behind by an unknown player.

• Foreign Badge — the identification tag of someone who never left the world.

Collect them.

Read the records.

Try to understand what happened.

But remember:

Not every save belongs to you.

🕳️ THE ALPHA WORLD

Eventually, you'll discover a file that looks like an ordinary old backup:

world_alpha.dat

It leads to a separate dimension styled after early Minecraft Alpha.

An empty world.

Old generation.

Strange traces of other players.

Graves.

Figures in the distance.

And messages that make you question everything:

Is this really a backup?

Or was this place never meant to be escaped from?

🔥 THE ARCHIVE FURNACE

As you collect the Memory Shards, you gradually begin to uncover the true purpose of the archive.

Worlds don't disappear.

They get rewritten.

Players don't always leave them.

And their data can become part of the next session.

At the end, you'll be faced with a choice.

But no matter which path you choose, the archive already knows your name.
