EasyServe by GameWithUs — Fabric, Forge and NeoForge Beta
Bring friends to your Minecraft Java server without setting up router port forwarding. EasyServe connects your server to GameWithUs while your world continues running on your own computer or host.
Beta: These releases were tested with Minecraft 1.21.4 on their matching loaders. Choose the file for your loader and game version. Back up your server and use a test server first; live gameplay and large-server capacity are still being tested.
Setup in five steps
- Sign in or create an account at https://beta.gamewithus.com/customer/.
- Open Minecraft plugin setup. Enter your server name, choose Fabric, Forge or NeoForge, and enter your Minecraft server port (usually 25565). Choose public or private access, then click Generate key and config. Your first group is created automatically.
- Download the matching file from this project's Files tab. Stop your server and place the JAR in its mods folder. Install only one EasyServe version.
- Start once, then stop the server. Open config/GameWithUs/config.yml and copy in the generated settings. Keep the HTTPS/WSS addresses and keep your API key private.
- Restart and check the server console for the connection status and address. For public access, use the reported address in Minecraft's Add Server screen. For private access, invite friends to your group and use the GameWithUs app or Quick Connect.

After editing config/GameWithUs/config.yml, use /easyserve reload to apply your settings. If a connection drops, try /easyserve reconnect, then check /easyserve status. A public join address appears only after the tunnel is ready.
Permissions and API-key safety
Setup, reload and reconnect require Minecraft permission level 3 or higher or the server console. These Fabric, Forge and NeoForge builds use Minecraft's operator permissions; they do not register Bukkit permission nodes such as gamewithus.admin. Everyone can use help, status and address commands. Your server's whitelist and normal joining rules still apply.
Compatible update notices can appear privately when a level-3-or-higher administrator joins, where supported by the loader, and in the server console. Updates are installed manually.
/easyserve setup shows instructions; it does not accept an API key. Put the key in the private configuration file. Never paste keys into chat, commands, screenshots or support logs.
Plans, updates and support
The mod is free to download. A GameWithUs account and internet connection are required. Free and paid relay plans have usage limits. These versions can display GameWithUs announcements according to your plan. They connect to GameWithUs for authentication, game traffic, plan settings and update checks. Updates are installed manually. Public UDP is not available in beta.
If connection fails, check the API key, local port and console messages, then use /easyserve reload after correcting the configuration. If needed, restart the server. Email admin@gamewithus.com with your loader/game version and logs with keys removed.
