Ever wanted to make an EPIC entrance?
Dynapaint adds a craftable brush that lets you coat blocks and SMASH straight through them while flying with an elytra!
Right-click a block to apply Dynapaint, wait five seconds for it to dry, then hit it with enough speed to break through. Right-click it again to remove the coating.
After a successful impact, you get a short window of protection from collision damage, giving you time to clear the wall and KEEP FLYING!
Use it for secret entrances, destructible shortcuts, stunt courses, or elytra races with breakable checkpoints.

Place these ingredients vertically in a crafting table:
Gunpowder
Feather
Stick
Each brush has 32 applications. Removing Dynapaint or trying to coat a blocked material does not consume one.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Dynapaint only activates while flying with an elytra and moving above the configured minimum speed.
The coating takes 5 seconds to dry. Wet blocks cannot trigger an impact, be broken by one, or connect dry sections together.
Only coated blocks connected by their faces are broken. The break area extends inward from the side you hit.
By default:
- Glass removes 35% of your speed.
- Other materials remove 50%.
- Collision protection begins only after blocks are successfully broken.
Containers, blocks with inventories, and unsafe technical blocks cannot be coated.
When drops are enabled, normal blocks follow their usual loot rules, and coated glass can also be recovered.
SETTINGS & MULTIPLAYER
Dynapaint includes a settings menu where you can adjust:
- Minimum impact speed
- Break area
- Block drops
- Glass speed loss
- Other-material speed loss
- Collision protection
- Protection duration
Open the menu with:
/dynapaint config
In singleplayer, the world owner can use the command normally. On multiplayer servers, only server operators can open the menu.
Dynapaint works in singleplayer and multiplayer!
For multiplayer, install it on the server and on every player’s client.
