What's new

Dynamic Weather 0.12.0

Forecast Station (new)
- New Forecast Station block: shows which storms arrive in the next hour (with trend and tornado chance), the pressure trend and approaching highs/lows for the next days, today's and tomorrow's high/low temperatures with frost and heat warnings, and the 7-day severe weather outlook.
- Emits a redstone signal (0-15, comparator-readable) when severe weather approaches - stronger for closer and more dangerous storms, 15 for an approaching tornado.

Radar upgrades (new)
- Weather radars now start with a 500 m range and can be upgraded 10 times up to 10 km with the new Upgrade button - from logs and iron up to netherrack and diamonds. The materials must be in your inventory.
- Every radar is upgraded separately: each Weather Radar block and each Handheld Radar keeps its own level (saved in the world and in the item, also when broken and placed again).
- The Handheld Radar shows its level and range in the tooltip.

Radar Monitor (new)
- New Radar Monitor: a flat wall screen that shows the live image of a linked Weather Radar - precipitation, range rings, a rotating sweep and blinking tornado markers. It glows, so it is readable in the dark.
- Link it by right-clicking a Weather Radar with the monitor; unlinked monitors use the nearest radar.
- Place several monitors next to each other to build a big video wall (up to 17x17 blocks).
- Automatic zoom to the nearest storm, or right-click the monitor to choose a fixed zoom (500 m - 10 km).
- Shows its range, a blinking TORNADO alert and "NO RADAR LINKED" when not connected.

Storms
- Every supercell now looks different: compact or huge, taller or lower, wider or narrower towers, leaning towers, short or long anvils, with or without a flanking line.
- Supercells produce tornadoes more often.
- New tornado siren sound: a deep, rough wail like a large mechanical siren, rising and falling slowly with a rotating horn.

Warnings
- Severe weather warnings no longer appear as big titles in the middle of the screen - only in chat with an alert sound.
- Warnings are only sent to players who placed a Weather Radio (anywhere) or are within warning range of one.
