As the description states, this mod specifically is made to generate ores after the world has already loaded. It does this by checking every block within a chunk radius around the player, and converting a set amount of the blocks into identical stone/deepslate blocks that update every tick. through this, each "filler" block has a chance per tick to convert into a secondary "filler" ore block that also acts identical to the standard ore, except they update every tick as well. This then allows the "filler" ores to have a chance per tick to spread and replace the stone/deepslate around it.
The reasoning as to why to have intermediary "filler" blocks is so that even after you leave an area, the stone and deepslate can still convert to ores, and the ores can still spread. this allows an emphasis on exploration and branching out, while still allowing already explored areas to be fresh and re-explorable after some time.
It is heavily recommended to use a resource scarcity mod alongside this, so that the standard ore generation upon world load and the dynamic generation over time made by this mod do not overpopulate the underground with ores. Unless you want a lot of ores. That is up to you.
Ultimately this was a small project of mine made specifically to be used in a larger project, so do not expect much of any updates in regards to mechanics or general changes. If there are bugs that are brought to my attention, I may choose to spend time fixing it, but even then I cannot say absolutely that I will fix it. This should be compatible with most of everything, but it also only affects Vanilla ores, so keep that in mind
