DVN Jetpacks is a simple mod that currently adds 3 jetpack variations, based off the roblox game "Dummies VS Noobs" and its jetpack system. Best used with a gun mod like TACZ, or Vic's Point Blank.
Requires my mod, Nexus Layer, and Curios. This mod isn't exactly survival friendly, so it's advised you use it to play in a gunfight minigame, or add recipes for survival yourself if you really want to.
Jetpacks are handled vastly differently from the traditional constant flight, instead being bursts of speed rather than constant movement and speed. In order to brace falls, gliding has also been ported from Dummies VS Noobs.
DVN Jetpacks has some inaccuracies with Migato Creations' jetpacks, such as how they function, and how the cooldowns are handled. DVN Jetpacks' cooldowns are handled through a "burst" method.
Cooldowns are seperate from eachother, and if used in quick succession, will regenerate at almost the exact same time as eachother.
While Migato Creations' jetpacks are used by a hotbar item, the ones in this mod are handled by Curios and thus by keybinds for both boosting and gliding.
Basic Variant
The basic jetpack, has two charges and is the slowest variant of them all, but still fast and works great.
Velocity Variant
Has 3 charges rather than 2, and is 50% faster than the basic variant, promoting consecutive use.
Creative Variant
Has infinite charges, and the speed of Velocity variant, as well as a smaller cooldown. Great for joyrides.
