Dust & Lead

Dust & Lead is a vanilla-style wild west mod that adds firearms, ammunition, lead resources, frontier gear, a custom structure, loot and sounds to Minecraft.

The mod is designed to feel close to vanilla while adding a new progression path around the Western Wagon, the Outlaw Trader, the Gun Workbench, and lead-based crafting.

Dust & Lead is currently in Beta. The main features should work, but bugs may still appear.

Western Wagon

The Western Wagon is a new structure that can be found in plains biomes.
It is the main place where players can discover the wild west content of the mod.

Outlaw Trader

The Outlaw Trader spawns near the Western Wagon.
This outlaw offers useful items related to weapons, ammunition and progression.

Trader Offers

The Outlaw Trader can offer several useful trades, including ammunition and the Toolbox, but not every outlaw sells one.

The Toolbox is an important progression item used to craft the Gun Workbench.

Gun Workbench

The Gun Workbench is a custom crafting station used to craft firearms and ammunition.

To progress into the weapon crafting system, players will need to obtain the required materials and craft the workbench first.

Firearms and Ammunition

Dust & Lead currently adds four different firearms:

• Revolver
• Shotgun
• Rifle
• Automatic Gun

Each weapon has its own ammunition type and combat role.

Lead Resources

Lead is the main material used in Dust & Lead.

You can find lead underground and use it to craft several lead-related items and blocks.

Current lead content includes:

• Lead Ore
• Lead Ingot
• Lead Ore Block
• Lead Block

Cowboy Hat

The Cowboy Hat is a western-themed armor piece that can be bought from the Outlaw Trader, again not every outlaw sells one.
