Smoother recovery from lag spikes
After a sudden lag spike, the game no longer wakes up a long stretch of the train at once, so the hitch passes quicker instead of getting worse. Pausing and resuming still keeps your train safe.
Echo fix
Echoes of other players turn up more often again on quiet stretches of track.
Better lag reports
Short lag spikes now leave a clue in the game log, so the ones you report can be tracked down and fixed.
