Dungeon Loot Bags

Add randomized loot to your Minecraft world!

Dungeon Loot Bags introduces a new rare item that gives you random loot from any chest loot table in the game. This mod is perfect to make fighting mobs more rewarding and giving your modpack a more adventurous feel.

Features

Loot Bag Item

Right-click to use and receive random items from chest loot tables
Stacks up to 16
Rare rarity (purple text)
Found in the Tools & Utilities creative tab
Drops from hostile mobs by default, but this is configurable.
Pulls from all available chest loot tables including:
- Vanilla dungeons (strongholds, mineshafts, temples, etc.)
- Village chests
- Nether structures (bastions, fortresses)
- End city treasure
- Trial chambers
- Ancient cities
- Modded dungeon chests from other mods you have installed
- Custom loot tables from datapacks

Configuration Support

Customize the mod with config options:

Drop Chance: Adjust the probability of mobs dropping loot bags (default: 5%)
Mob Type Filter: Choose whether only hostile mobs or all mobs can drop bags
Drop Amount: Set minimum and maximum number of bags that can drop per mob
Config file location: `config/dungeonlootbags-common.toml`
