Experience the harsh and mysterious deserts of Arrakis within Minecraft.
This mod reimagines the Dune universe through original content designed to blend seamlessly with the base game — from giant creatures lurking under the sands to new tools, loot, and desert survival mechanics.

Main Features

Arrakis : A New Dimension

• In desert village, you can encounter CHOAM Merchant that will sell you 2 items to travel to Arrakis and back to the Overworld and Plastic Fibers for stillsuit.
• 2 Unique Biomes : Dune Desert & Rocksand Mountains
• Unique Tools craftable from Arrakis' dimensions blocks.

The Spice — The Essence of Arrakis

• The Spice is a powerful resource harvested from the desert sands (but be careful it can be unstable).
• The Spice system encourages exploration, survival, and experimentation in the deserts of your world.
• It serves multiple purposes within gameplay: 
  • Used to craft Spice Lamps, providing warm, glowing light.
  • Acts as a fertilizer, enhancing crop growth in arid regions.
  • Works as an efficient fuel source, capable of powering furnaces longer than coal.
  • Can be used in food recipes, such as Spiced Carrots.
  • A key ingredient in the Spice TNT, a volatile explosive with a distinct fiery effect.

The Sandworm

• A semi-passive creature that is endemic to Arrakis Dimension.
• Comes in three variants: Small, Middle, and Big.
• Produces distinct crawl sounds and interacts with the desert environment.

 The Maula Pistol

• A custom weapon inspired by the technology of Arrakis.
• Functions like a bow but fires Maula Darts for quick, silent precision.
• Features unique firing sounds and balanced gameplay damage.

 Plastic Fibers

• A new crafting material found in desert pyramids, and village chests.
• Used as a base component for advanced crafting recipes (e.g. equipment, gear, or future machinery).
• Become a true fremen with your stillsuit and crysknife.
• Can also be craft by certain desert objects in upcoming updates.

Plasteel Ore & Tools

• New plasteel ore generations in Arrakis Dimension.
• Used in crafting tools and weapons. 

Desert Farming

• A new way to farm in the desert without water.
• Use spices as fertilizer and vanilla-carrot to grow your own new form of carrot. 

Compatibility

• Fully functional in singleplayer and multiplayer environments.
• Built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (Forge) .
• Designed to remain lightweight and modular, ensuring compatibility with other biome or creature mods.
