Drying Rack
A simple wall-mounted drying rack for NeoForge. Hang an item on it, wait, and it dries into something new.
Lightweight and easy for modpack makers to extend.
How It Works
1. Craft a Drying Rack and place it on the side of a block.
2. Right-click the rack with an item to hang it up. The rack holds one item at a time.
3. Wait. The item dries over time, with the occasional puff of smoke while it works.
4. Right-click with an empty hand to take the finished item back.
If you break the rack, whatever is on it drops.

Mod Support
- JEI: every drying recipe is listed, with its drying time. Look up the Drying Rack and check the rack tab to see everything it can dry.
- Jade: look at a rack to see what's drying and its progress.
- KubeJS: add and remove drying recipes from scripts (see below).
None of these are required.
For Modpack Makers
Drying recipes are standard recipe files in Kubejs here is a example:
ServerEvents.recipes(event => {
// Add a drying recipe
event.custom({
type: 'nostalgicdryingrack:drying',
input: 'minecraft:kelp',
output: 'minecraft:dried_kelp',
output_count: 1,
drying_time: 400
})
})
