1.3.0 Changes
- New upgrade slots in the vehicle’s screen (E): Storage, Drill head, Engine and Fuel tank
- Storage upgrades (Iron / Gold / Diamond): 54, 81 or 108 slots, with page buttons in the storage screen. Supply crates appear on the rear deck as storage grows.
- Drill heads (Iron / Diamond / Netherite): dig 1.5×, 2.5× or 4× faster. Diamond and Netherite bore a bigger 5×5 tunnel, and the drill head changes color to match.
- Engine upgrades (Iron / Diamond): +25% or +50% top speed
- Fuel tank upgrades (Iron / Diamond): 2× or 3× fuel capacity
- New crafting item: the Upgrade Frame, used to craft tier 1 modules. Higher tiers are crafted from the previous tier, and the Netherite Drill Head is made in a smithing table.
- Upgrades also apply to remote routes, including the dig-down shaft
- Upgrades stay installed when you pick the vehicle up, and its tooltip lists them
- A storage upgrade can’t be removed while the extra pages still hold items, so nothing gets lost
