Blocks removed:

  • small horsetail waterplant, lilac tree flowers, purple hyacinth, white and black calla, blue and orange poppy, fireflower (was too cheaty)

! Highalnds, Volcano Slopes, Taiga Shield were removed.

Biome Layout has been changed to remove biomes, mentioned above and add new one; to make swamps flatter; "shattered" biomes moved to "plateau" (windswept biomes and others) to stop messing the swamps; noises changed to achieve more interesting highlands shapes and smoother main lands.

  • New Biome - Lush Coniferous Forest!  - to cherish the memory of my favourite biome from oldschool ExtraBiomesXl 
  • Sacred Giants Grove  renamed to Fairy Garden and gets a BIG update! 
  • Old Growth Swampland finally gets attention: cool new giant trees, inspired by canonical BigTrees' swampy trees, as well as other neat trees changes
  • Thaumic Grove  gets better trees distribution + new special magical hanging blossoms + new flower + better flowers balance
  • Elder Woods  gets new trees + new flowers + other changes
  • Morass has it's trees fixed to be more consistently existent
  • Weeping Grove gets new trees and fresh coat of paint
  • Swamp trees are changed for the better
  • Ruby Maple Forest is now as bold and magnificently spooky as in the real world!
  • Flowering Fields finally reaches harmony with new flowers, new color scheme, silver cypress trees and new lavender textures

  • updated leaves textures: aspen leaves, swamp leaves, redheart leaves, twilight leaves, willow leaves, swamp willow leaves, karagana leaves+flowers
  • new randomized cattails textures
  • bayou roots, spanish moss recolor, willow wooden blocks recolor, ruby maple fallen leaves, big ferns recolor, eldertwine flower recolor, lavender, veronica, blueveila sapling, bamboo sapling  and some other saplings

Other big changes:

 

  • All custom wood blocks in trees are changed to the new Log's blockstate ("bark"="true"), that looks like wood, but drop logs - for a better gameplay
  • Florivyne is now a normal vine
  • Saplings Pattern Tooltips added to saplings
  • Snowy Leaves renamed to Snowy Branches
  • Horsetail Stick renamed to Plant Stem (drops from all giant plants)
  • DW Mega Pine sapling now properly spawns only 2*2 pattern trees from Old Growth Pine Taiga with spruce wood 
  • Red Wildflowers now grow in circles under Red Peaches
  • Small Cacti can be potted

Crucial bugfixes:

 

  • fixed excessive trees structures loading, that  was created by an error on a long night-before-the-release. Structures now load ONCE per the very fisrt world loading (takes around a second!) in game and stay loaded until the game is closed. 
  • fixed Ice tree blocks transparency
  • fixed bugs in recipes and loot-tables
  • fixed flammability and explosion toughness for many blocks
  • fixed epiphytes plants (like orchids) spawning habits
  • fixed potted rose bushes drops and some others
  • fixed potted tall plants models
  • fixed some blocks shading that rendered lighter than they are: hanging leaves and flowers
  • fixed black shadows on some plants with big 3D models when near another block+smooth lighting is on
  • fixed Clay Dirt blocks to be properly appreciated by vanilla grass when overgrowing (no more grass under the clay dirt)
  • Hopefully fixed new saplings patterns growth once again
  • Cleaned .json files from tons of unused blockchecks from the old treegen core (should improve performance even more)
  • Overall cleaned tons of data from remaining duplicates (from the old vanilla variant)
