• Better transatlantic synchronization:
  • A synced display learns how long a jump takes on your connection and aims far enough ahead to land on time
  • If jumps still keep landing behind, it waits longer between them and accepts a few seconds of delay instead of skipping again and again
• Seeking in long Google Drive videos is about 3x faster

Fixes

• Fixed synced videos skipping forward over and over (and sometimes never starting) when the video host is far away, e.g. American services for players in Europe
• Fixed "Unrecoverable stream failure" for Google Drive (#261)

Server

Improvements

• Everyone starts together: a new video on a Synced or Broadcast display waits 5 seconds so every viewer can buffer first, then starts for all at once
• Less network traffic for big audiences: synced displays send a keep-alive every 5 seconds instead of every 2 (pause, seek and video changes are still sent instantly)
• Minor codebase improvements
