Dreamcraft Electricity
Build a power station, drill finite oil deposits, refine fuels and store them in tall tank towers.
Power
- Wind generators produce 16 FE/t under open sky at Y70+, or 32 FE/t in rain.
- Water generators produce 24 FE/t beside flowing water.
- Fuel generators burn gasoline (96 FE per mB) or diesel (128 FE per mB).
- FE cables connect machines across bounded networks. Batteries hold 100000 FE.
- Redstone signals pause machines.
Petroleum and fuels
- New overworld chunks gain oil shale and small finite liquid-crude pockets.
- Oil pumps collect source crude or oil shale up to 16 blocks below, at 200 FE.
- A controller with three distillation columns above processes 1000 mB crude into 600 mB gasoline, 300 mB diesel and bitumen, using 4000 FE over 100 ticks.
- 1-, 5- and 20-bucket jerry cans store real fuel type and quantity, without mixing.
- Tank controllers with vertical segments form 1-16 block multiblock towers, holding 32000 mB per block. Access fuel through connected vertical segments.
Little details
Industrial housings, storage collars, moving wind/water rotors, activity sparks, generator smoke, fuel-colored liquids and quantity-labelled cans.
Using it
Right-click with buckets/cans to transfer fuel. An empty can fills; a loaded can pours; sneak-click refills it. A stick switches the distillation output between gasoline and diesel. Empty-hand right-click opens a machine screen with energy/fuel bars and next-step hints. A free in-game guidebook is available from every machine screen; craft one from book + copper ingot too. All Electricity items have helpful tooltips. Crafting recipes are included for machines, cables, circuits, wires and cans.
Dreamcraft connections
Requires Dreamcraft Networks Announcements API 1.1.6. Dreamcraft 3D Printers plastic blocks optionally feed the oil pump. Computers and other compatible mods can use standard NeoForge energy. The older 3D Printers 1.2.0 itself does not consume FE; this mod does not change that. 26.2 uses the current transactional NeoForge energy/fluid API; 1.21.1 uses its legacy standard energy/fluid API. Use the jar for your exact Minecraft version.
First-release limits
No dedicated fluid pipes yet. Tank towers are vertical columns, not arbitrary shapes. No fuel explosions, toxicity or realistic chemistry. Breaking the controller/machine loses its stored fluid and energy: drain it first. Multiplayer, long-running networks and third-party integration need playtesting.
