Dreadsteel - Epic Fight compatible (EFC)

THIS MOD STILL REQUIRES SHADOWIZARDLIB AS A DEPENDENCY. IT ALSO CANNOT BE USED ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL DREADSTEEL MOD!

This mod fixes the Dreadsteel armor set made by DaddyUnion so that it doesn't appear glitched when using Epic Fight animations and renders properly. There are also some slight changes to the armor's texture so that certain parts of the mesh don't clip while moving. The armor still renders properly in vanilla as well so this isn't something where you gotta choose what kind of animations you want.
If you still prefer to use the old textures, you can make a resource pack that overrides these ones with the originals.

New kits

Along with fixing an impactful bug, this mod also adds 6 new skins for the Dreadsteel set all based on fictional characters from gaming and anime, made to look as similar as possible while using Dreadsteel as a template:

  1. Dante's Sin devil trigger transformation
With the Dante Sin devil trigger kit made with 1 book and 1 red dye, you can make yourself look like Dante's SDT transformation that he unlocks in Devil may cry 5 (Jackpot).

  2. Vergil's Sin devil trigger transformation
With the Vergil Sin devil trigger kit made with 1 book and 1 blue dye, you can make yourself look like Vergil's SDT transformation for maximum motivation.

  3. Mini PEKKA
Considering the default Dreadsteel set looks like PEKKA from the clash series, it's only fitting there's also the Mini PEKKA from Clash royale. Craft the Mini PEKKA kit with 1 book and 1 cyan dye.

  4. The Lich king
With The Lich king kit crafted with 1 book and 1 light blue dye, you can turn yourself into The Lord of The Scourge from the Warcraft series and command the undead army of Azeroth (without another mod you won't).

  5. Berserker armor
Guts' armor from Berserk, you can now make it with the Berserker kit, made with 1 book, 1 black dye and 1 red dye. Good luck with Griffith lil bro. 

  6. Alphonse Elric
After commiting a taboo in alchemy, Edward sealed his brother's soul into a suit of armor to keep him alive. With the Alphonse kit made with 1 book, 1 gray dye and 1 green dye, you can turn into the Fullmetal alchemist's little brother.



None of the new sets have any custom properties or stat buffs, they just look different.
