DragonSurvival-1.21.1-v2.0.64-16.08.2026-all.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Overhaul of dragon riding logic:
- Dragon riding now uses a geckolib bone ("MountingBone") as the basis for positioning the rider
- Massively improved server-client communication about how to position the rider with various techniques, resulting in far less "lagging behind" of the rider's hitbox
- Refactored the positioning of the rider visually to just use as much clientside calculation as possible, so it should look completely smooth now and perfectly lock on to the mount
- Also made it so that the rider's camera position is dictated by this same visual calculation, so camera movement is smooth for them too
- Geckolib bone positions are processed even if the dragon wasn't rendered (if it is needed to position a rider), making sure that you get positioned correctly even when the dragon isn't being rendered
- Old addons that used the MountingOffsets data will need to be updated to use a MountingBone instead
- If you don't intend to support riding for your species, you can add a "rideable" parameter in the body JSON and set it to false (by default it is true)
