DragonMineZ Plus 1.1.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.1.3 — Deep space, Gravity Mastery, and a tighter Dragon Ball ban
The largest DragonMineZ Plus update so far: a whole new region above the sky to explore, an optional overhaul of gravity training, and a Dragon Ball storage ban that finally holds against modded containers.
🪐 Deep space
Push high enough into the sky and you'll ascend past the world into a brand-new deep-space region.
- The sky is a map. Planets and the sun sit at their real positions overhead and grow as you approach — where things are is how you find your way out, and how you find your way home.
- Asteroid fields to mine. Rocky debris fields drift through deep space, carrying veins of Gete debris ore.
- Space is cold; stars are the only warmth. Temperature now depends on where you are — the deep void is freezing, drawing near a star warms you, and each race handles the cold differently. Plan your route around it.
- Finding your way.
/dmzplus space locatepoints you toward the nearest world while the in-game star map is still in the works.
🌋 Gravity Mastery — new, opt-in (off by default)
An optional replacement for how gravity training works. Instead of your stats deciding how much gravity you can bear, you earn it by enduring.
- Endure high gravity and, over time, you permanently bank Gravity Mastery — the amount of gravity you can shrug off for free.
- Push far past your mastery and the strain ramps up fast: a little over is survivable holding shift, but way over will put you down quickly.
- Progress banks in place — hold a gravity long enough and it locks in, with no more leaving and returning to save it.
- Off by default. Server admins turn it on in the config under
[gravityMastery] enabled. Left off, gravity behaves exactly as it does today.
🔴 Dragon Ball storage ban — now covers modded storage
A Dragon Ball was never meant to be locked away in a box, but modded storage used to ignore that rule. Not anymore.
- Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated Storage now refuse Dragon Balls — placed by hand or fed in by automation alike. The ban previously only ever reached vanilla-style containers.
- A periodic sweep is the catch-all. Every few seconds the server checks storage near players — drawers, Iron Chests, shulkers, machine buffers, anything — and ejects any Dragon Ball it finds, dropping it back into the world to be found and contested like any loose ball.
- Handled without any mod-specific code, so storage mods added later are covered too. Tunable in
dmzplus-common.tomlunder[dballs]. - ⚠ Known gap: Applied Energistics 2 keeps items on a virtual ME network no generic check can see, so a ball can still be placed into an ME system. A dedicated AE2 integration is planned.
⌨️ One command root
All commands now live under a single /dmzplus root — /dmzplus dballs, /dmzplus hbtc, /dmzplus space, and so on. The old separate command roots have been removed, so update any command blocks, macros or datapacks that used them.
Requires DragonMineZ 2.1.3+ on Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge).
