Living World expands Dragon Mine Z with persistent fighters who grow, fight, form relationships, pursue goals, acquire equipment and build their own history as you play.

🧑 Persistent Fighters

Warriors are more than disposable NPCs. They can retain their identity, power, personality, relationships, equipment, techniques, goals and battle history across encounters.

Fighters you meet today may return later stronger, better equipped, or with entirely new relationships and objectives.

⚔️ Native Dragon Mine Z Combat

Living World fighters use Dragon Mine Z's existing systems rather than replacing them.

They can make use of melee combat, Ki attacks, flight, transformations, training, racial progression and real Dragon Mine Z equipment.

🤝 Relationships, Rivals & Mentors

Repeated encounters can create friendships, rivalries, companions, mentors and students.

Rivals who survive encounters can continue training and developing independently, allowing relationships to evolve naturally throughout the world.

🗡️ Equipment & Techniques

Fighters can obtain and use real Dragon Mine Z equipment and learn techniques from other warriors.

Equipment and knowledge can even pass between characters over time, creating histories around important fighters, teachers and weapons.

🎯 Goals & Progression

Living World fighters can pursue their own goals, such as becoming stronger, defeating a rival, learning a technique, obtaining equipment or developing new abilities.

Their progression continues as part of the world rather than existing only when the player is directly interacting with them.

🌎 Dynamic World Activity

While exploring, you can encounter wandering warriors, factions, patrols, training groups, wanted fighters and conflicts.

These systems are designed to make the Dragon Mine Z world feel active beyond the player's own progression.

📖 Living History

Important events become part of each fighter's persistent story.

Victories, defeats, rivalries, mentorships, progression, techniques, equipment ownership and deaths can all contribute to the history of your world.

🔍 Fighter Profiles

Shift + Right-click a Living World fighter to inspect information such as their relationships, goals, equipment, techniques and history.

Using a Dragon Mine Z Scouter provides additional combat information.

📚 In-Game Guide

Living World includes a dedicated player guide explaining the mod's major systems, controls and features.

Press L to open the Living World interface and select Guide, or open it directly with:

⚙️ Per-World Settings

Every world can customize its Living World experience.

Open L → Settings to configure options such as world activity, nearby fighter population, hostile fighter limits, faction encounters, dynamic encounters, returning fighters and automatic power sensing.

Settings are saved per world, so different saves or servers can use different Living World configurations.
