Dragon Ball RE is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that brings the full Dragon Ball experience into the game — not as a collection of power boosts, but as a deep combat system where how you fight matters as much as how strong you are. Every transformation has real drawbacks. Every form rewards mastery. Endurance is your most valuable resource — and losing it means losing the fight.

Form Mastery System
Every transformation has 5 mastery tiers. At Tier 0 you're unstable and draining fast. At Tier 4 the form is part of you — no drawbacks, passive bonuses, exclusive abilities.

Endurance & Strain
A two-bar endurance system — Active Stamina for moment-to-moment combat, Endurance Core for long-term fatigue. Push too hard and you collapse.

Not a transformation — a direct endurance burn for a power spike. Use it too early and you collapse later. At x20 you take self-damage. Pure risk/reward.

Every transformation in Dragon Ball RE is a gameplay state shift, not a stat multiplier. Forms change your moveset, your speed profile, your combo structure — and every one of them has a cost.

Tier 0 — Unstable 0 – 20% Huge ki drain, endurance burns, aura flickers, risk of self-damage
 
Tier 1 — Controlled 20 – 40% Stable activation, basic combos unlock, drain still significant
 
Tier 2 — Efficient 40 – 60% Drain noticeably reduced, new form-specific abilities unlock
 
Tier 3 — Refined 60 – 85% Minimal drawbacks, advanced combos, cancels and chains unlock
 
Tier 4 — Mastered 85 – 100% No drawbacks. Passive bonuses outside form, unique aura, exclusive ultimate ability

Mastery is earned through performance — fighting while transformed under pressure, surviving near death, landing perfect dodges, using ki efficiently. There is no shortcut. Committing to a form is a real choice.


🧬 Races & Transformation Trees

⚑ Saiyan
SSJ → SSJ2 → SSJ3 → SSJ God → SSB → Ultra Instinct (later). Zenkai growth — you get stronger by nearly dying. Great Ape and Oozaru forms planned post-rendering milestone.
❄️ Frieza Race
Unique reverse progression — Suppression Forms limit your power mid-fight, unlocking True Form and then Golden Form at peak. Fastest race, highest lethality baseline.
🟒 Namekian
Regeneration-focused identity. Mystic Namekian, Regeneration Form, and eventually Giant Form. Fuse with NPCs for permanent stat boosts.

No ki drain — Infinite Energy Mode is the core identity. Overclock for speed bursts, Barrier Core for constant defense. Never runs out of resources, but endurance is still a factor.

Cell-style Absorption Stages — Imperfect → Semi-Perfect → Perfect. Choose your Perfect Form path: Speed, Tank, or Ki-Specialist. Near-immortal Regeneration Core as a fallback.

Elastic body, extreme regeneration, high unpredictability. Pure Chaos Form at low mastery is nearly uncontrollable. Absorption mechanics and Controlled Majin form planned.
