### Short description

DoxCore is the shared library the Dox mod suite is built on. It contains **no gameplay** by itself — only small "soft-link" contracts that let the other mods detect and mesh with each other at runtime **without hard dependencies**. Install it because another Dox mod requires it.

### What it provides

- **Part-hit soft-link** — a way for a hitbox engine to publish "which body part was hit" and for damage/health mods to read it (falls back gracefully when absent).

- **Pose soft-link** — lean angle & hold-breath state that gun-integration code can read, so lean/breath mods stay independent of the gun mod.

- **Item-size soft-link** — items publish their backpack-grid size (width×height, stackable) so a backpack mod can lay them out, without the backpack mod depending on the item mods.

- **Networking helpers** — per-mod channel creation and byte-buffer/sanitize utilities (each mod owns its own channel; no shared-channel ordering fragility).

### Requirements

- None beyond Forge. This is a dependency library — it does nothing visible on its own.

### For modders

Soft-link entry points (register from your mod at setup):

- `DoxParts.register(DoxPartService)` / `DoxParts.resolve(attacker, victim)` → part name or null.

- `DoxPose.registerLean(...)` / `DoxPose.registerBreath(...)`; read via `DoxPose.leanAngle`, `leanPeekOffset`, `breathFade`.

- `DoxItemSize.register(matcher, w, h, stackable)` / `DoxItemSize.resolve(stack)` → backpack-grid size (falls back when unregistered).

- `DoxNetworks.create(modid, proto)` for a SimpleChannel; `DoxBufs` for safe string I/O.
