doxbackpack-1.2.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
This release is almost entirely from your reports. Thank you.
Fixed
- You could not craft in survival. Replacing the vanilla inventory screen also removed
the 2x2 crafting grid that lives on it. The grid now has its own 2x2 crafting -- your
materials are in the grid, so the crafting slots belong there too.
- You could not take items in creative. The creative menu's "Survival inventory" tab
opens a vanilla inventory screen, which we replaced, so there was no way back to the
creative tab. We no longer intercept in creative.
- The Curios API could only be opened with a hotkey. Curios slots are now part of the
grid inventory itself.
- Crafting tables, furnaces, anvils and modded machines could not be filled. The bottom
half of those screens is your vanilla inventory, and we empty it into the grid, so the
screens opened fine but you had no hand to put materials in with.
Added
- The grid is the main screen at any station. Open a crafting table, anvil, furnace or
modded machine and your grid inventory fills the left side while the station sits on
the right. The screen itself is untouched, so anvil name fields, enchanting buttons,
stonecutter lists and modded machine widgets all still work.
- The vanilla player inventory is not drawn at all while the grid is in use. It is the
empty shell we absorbed into the grid, so there is no reason to show it. Anything
shift-clicked into it is pulled back into the grid within half a second.
- Curios slots inside the grid, drawn with the icons Curios provides. Buttons that other
mods attach to the vanilla inventory are moved onto the grid screen.
- JEI shows up on the grid screen. It only draws on container screens, and the grid is a
plain screen, so it used to hide itself.
- Vanilla-like handling: shift-click quick move, right-click to place one at a time,
right-drag to spread, double-click to gather a stack, and the mouse wheel to take or
return one item at a time. Mouse Tweaks cannot hook our screen, so this is built in.
- What you craft lands on your cursor.
- Backpack recipes (6) and four crafting materials of our own -- webbing, reinforced
fabric, alloy buckles and ballistic plates. Backpacks were unobtainable in survival
before this.
- The recipe book button is hidden at stations. It fills recipes from the vanilla
inventory, which is empty here, so it could not do anything.
Known
- At a station you can move items in your pockets and worn backpack; equipment and armour
are shown but not editable there. Nested bags and mirrored containers are still handled
in the full grid screen.
- In creative the vanilla inventory row is left alone -- the creative menu needs it.
- Curios only manages slots; you still need a mod (or datapack) that provides them.
