# Downfall 1.1.5 (major update)

Downfall on every loader, for both Minecraft 26.3 and Minecraft 1.20.1.

## Where to find each jar

Everything is in this **Mod Versions** folder, sorted by loader, then by Minecraft version:

The earlier releases (Downfall 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.3 and 1.1.4, and the Shooting Star builds) are kept in the same folders.

What each one needs:

- **Fabric 26.3**: Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Fabric API.
- **Forge 26.3**: Forge 66.1.2 or newer.
- **NeoForge 26.3**: NeoForge 26.3.0.95 or newer.
- **Fabric 1.20.1**: Fabric Loader 0.14.21 or newer and Fabric API (0.92 or newer).
- **Forge 1.20.1**: Forge 47 or newer.
- **NeoForge 1.20.1**: NeoForge 47.1 or newer.

## New: Forge for Minecraft 26.3

The full mod on Forge 26.3: all sixteen weapons with their films, impact frames, sounds and aftermath blocks,
the Uplink and its menu, the dead world, the radiation suit. Tested by playing every film through on Forge.

## New: everything on Minecraft 1.20.1

The 1.20.1 version used to have only the original five weapons. It now has everything 26.3 has, on Forge,
NeoForge and Fabric:

- **All sixteen weapons**: Coring Beam, Undertow, Javelin, Rain of Suns, Sun Ray, Neutron Pulse, Atlas Collapse,
  Moonfall, Absolute Zero, Helios Array, Thunderhead, Vulcan, Guillotine, The Pale Choir, The Last Hour and Ramiel.
- **The remade machines**: the detailed, realistic 3D models with metal, glass and moving parts, lit in the films
  the same way as on 26.3.
- **Every impact frame**, including the freeze frames, the lens warp, and the electric, old-film and colour-negative
  styles.
- **The skies**: The Last Hour's time-lapse (days racing by, then the long exposure of the ages) and Ramiel's purple
  and pink light as it charges.
- **Ramiel's crystal**: the angel you can see into, mirroring the sky round it.
- **Every aftermath block** with its textures, sounds and behaviour, and the glass, ice and crystals see-through.
- **The Uplink menu** with all sixteen weapons in four columns, and a key for every weapon.
- During a film you're sent the land round the strike, so huge zones show whole.

## Fixes

- DF-05 Sun Ray: the trees cracking and crashing down now have subtitles.

## Tested

- Minecraft 26.3: every film played through on NeoForge and Forge, and on Fabric every film but the Sun Ray's (the
  Sun Ray only gained its subtitles in this update).
- Minecraft 1.20.1: every film played through on Forge and on Fabric; NeoForge (the same build as Forge) played the
  Coring Beam, The Last Hour and Ramiel; and the finished Forge and Fabric jars were also run the way players get them
  (a normal Forge 47.4.10 game, and a normal Fabric game with Fabric API) with the same three films.

## Good to know on 1.20.1

- Every weapon's own sound is the same as on 26.3. A few small extra touches borrow Minecraft sounds that only came
  after 1.20.1 (the mace, the wind charge and breeze, copper, the trial spawner and the heavy core); on 1.20.1 they play
  the closest older Minecraft sound instead (the Uplink's flip cover is an iron trapdoor, the impact-frame thud is a
  heavy fall, the warp whoosh is a trident).
