Douglas Forest

This mod adds a few biomes:

The douglas fir forest: The climate of the forest is temperate. The tree cover consists of mostly Douglas Fir trees with some Pine trees mixed in and the shrubbery is made of mostly ferns, like other coniferous forests.

Douglas Fir trees are tall trees averaging 15 blocks tall but can achieve up to 30 blocks tall. The leaves sit close to the trunk and start high up. Its planks are light colored. The horizontal density of the forest is quite low compared to the oak forest leading to common clearing.

Pine trees are the tall variety of the spruce trees.

The maple forest: The climate is cooler than a normal forest. The trees cover is made of equal parts Oak and Maple.

Maple trees are similar to oak/birch trees. Their leaves are bright red. If serene seasons is installed the leaves will only be red in autumn and winter. Sheared leaves are always red.
