This mod adds in double bladed axes into Minecraft, which serve as a heavy weapon.
For what they lack in speed, double bladed axes make up for in power and versatility. They excel in player vs enemy combat situations, because unlike most conventional weapons that hit a single enemy, double bladed axes instead hit in a 2 block radius, allowing you to attack multiple enemies at once.
Additionally, double bladed axes can be imbued with potions, allowing them to inflict a weaker version of the effect on the enemy by hitting them.
In order to make sure that the weapon integrates well within vanilla Minecraft, the weapon has been extensively tested in out-of-shield and shield combat, and is balanced with the vanilla weapons in both.
There are two secret double bladed axes that aren't directly mentioned here. Try to find them!
(Hint: Griefing and McDonalds)

Potion Imbuing
To imbue a double bladed axe with a potion, place the axe and the potion into the crafting table together. Placement does not matter.
The result will be the double sided axe with the desired potion effect.
Note: You cannot imbue a double sided axe with Potion of Harming
Avaliable in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
If you were to make a mod pack with this mod, I would love it if you would give credit, but it's not necessary.
Hey,
is this mod dead?
I loved this mod so much :-)
Helped you with German Translation back in 2021 :-)
Best regards

Hello I added this mod in my top 10 underrated mod list of November :D Really nice mod! But I seem to experience a bug where the axe disappears after adding the potion effect to it :(
In reply to bstylia14:
wow!
Does it work on 1.16.3?
In reply to meirtawk:
Going to be porting it in a bit. I might re balance some of the potion effects while I'm at it.
In reply to Akurojinx:
Ok! Thank for this mod! I really fell in love with big axes! :)
In reply to Akurojinx:
Since Oracle JDK downloads are inaccessible for the current moment, I don't have access to the resources I need to compile a new version. It might take a little bit.
In reply to Akurojinx:
Hi,
I didn't know that they are unavailable.
What do you mean with that?
Is java.com the site?
If I can help or test, please contact me!

In reply to PleXXtoR:
Thanks a lot for your offer to help. I just got a copy of the JDK installer off a friend, so you'll probably see the update come out in a couple of days. If you want to help out with testing, or if you have any ideas, I just made a Discord server for that exact purpose: https://discord.gg/PwVxPBn
In reply to meirtawk:
