What's new

IMPORTANT: I still recommend waiting for version 1.0.0

Added:

  • Advanced Breakers now leave their drops at the block by default. A new option lets them send the drops behind the machine like the regular Breaker.
  • Added an in-game warning when a configuration is missing or loaded incorrectly. No message appears when everything is working normally.
  • Added 15 new enchantments: Treefall, Veinbreaker, Earthwright, Quarryer's Reach, Oreheart, Emberforged, Headsman, Death Echo, Cinder Walker, Soulbound, Fireproof, Hoarder's Fortune, Mega Crit, Killing Chain, and Plaguebrand.
  • Added a few new advancements. (+hidden advancements)

Changed:

  • Window and HUD button positions are now saved in config/dopasrandomutilities-client.json instead of the gameplay pack. Do not edit this file manually!
  • Machines now check for redstone changes only when nearby blocks change. Large worlds with many machines should run more smoothly.
  • Combustion Generators and Solar Panel Controllers now share energy with nearby machines more efficiently.
  • Item Collectors and Transfer Nodes remember nearby inventories instead of searching for them repeatedly.
  • Advanced Breakers and Placers only recalculate upgrades when their upgrades change.
  • Fishnets no longer check water and fishing rods when they have nothing to catch.
  • Resource Generators check their surroundings less often when their recipe has not changed.
  • Item Magnets in collect mode no longer search for items between collection pulses.
  • Redstone Clocks only update when their state actually changes.
  • Resource Generators display their contents more efficiently.
  • /dev/null and other filter items with preview icons now use less power to display.
  • Working-area outlines for Collectors, Breakers, and Placers are drawn more efficiently.
  • Machine screens no longer rebuild their side panels and labels every frame.
  • Filter item now have a much simper recipe.

Fixed:

  • The mod no longer declares a build dependency on FTB Library / FTB Teams (FTB Chunks claim support still works)
  • Advanced Breaker and Placer upgrades are saved correctly again and no longer disappear after loading a world.
  • Mistyped numbers in configuration files now use the default value instead of stopping the mod from loading. The same applies to invalid window and HUD layout settings.
  • Restored machine windows and advanced filter panels now stay in the correct position after changing the GUI scale or screen resolution.
  • Fishnet saved catches are limited to 64 entries when loaded.
  • Solar arrays stop producing power when a claimed panel chunk is unloaded, limit the number of saved panels, and skip unloaded chunks when rebuilding.
  • Cardboard boxes can no longer be opened if their captured block no longer exists. The box remains safe.
  • Generator drop recipes now have a maximum output of 64 item stacks or 256 fluid buckets, preventing huge recipes from flooding the world with entities.
  • Working-area outlines are cleared when leaving a world.

Removed:

  • Removed unused helper methods, item models, and translation entries.
  • Removed unused internal files, an unused block model, unused translation lines, and two non-functional options from upgrade_bonuses.toml: energy and fluid_capacity. Existing configuration files are updated automatically the next time the game starts.
