What's new

If you use a previous version, I STRONGLY recommend deleting the config\dopas_random_utilities folder and letting the new configs generate. Configs have changed a lot, they’re now more customisable and easier to understand. (Although compatibility should be possible in theory, it’s not recommended!!)

IMPORTANT: Moving to a 0.x.x version format, meaning that everything I originally wanted is now in the mod and I need to improve them further (especially the textures). I still recommend waiting for version 1.0.0.

Added:

  • Simple/Advanced Block Breaker
  • Simple/Advanced Block Placer
  • Energy system for some machines
  • Energy Upgrade
  • Efficiency Upgrade
  • Fluid Capacity Upgrade
  • Stack Upgrade
  • Range Upgrade
  • Simple Core Frame
  • Advanced Core Frame
  • Transfer Pipes and Transfer Nodes (highly inspired by the Extra Utilities 2 transfer system)
  • Tiny TNT
  • Wood Chips
  • Lasso
  • Golden Lasso
  • Cursed Lasso
  • Tooltips on more items so you can see what they do at a glance
  • A way to easily disable or enable each item/block
  • Item Magnet
  • Cardboard Box
  • Combustion Generator
  • Small compatibility with FTB Chunks and The One Probe (waiting for the mods to get updates first)

Changes:

  • Updated NeoForge version to 26.2.0.59
  • Whitelist / blacklist icons
  • Gather and hitbox icons
  • Made Solar Furnace slower (90% > 70%)
  • A few JEI descriptions
  • Filter slots look a bit different
  • Reworked machine GUIs, they should feel the same but they’re easier for me to maintain
  • Some recipes now require the new "Core" blocks
  • Moved the title of some machines to the centre of the UI
  • Nerfed a bunch of stuff that I can’t be bothered to list here

Fixed:

  • (Attempt) Less TPS/FPS lag from this mod. No promises, but it should be lighter
  • Reimplemented the feature for both /dev/null to place blocks from the internal inventory
  • Upgrade window closing when it shouldn’t (when clicking on slots)
  • Solar Furnace UI (used wrong texture)
  • Spamming clicks (or shift-clicking) on a filter slot could eat the item in your hand. Ghost filters now only copy the item
  • Custom GUIs ticking twice (things running faster than they should)
  • …and other small fixes that I won’t name…

Removed:

  • Item Collector line of sight feature. It was too performance-taxing and too hard to implement
