Crafting
To create a lockable door, combine:
- One normal vanilla door
- One redstone dust
The result is the matching lockable version of that door.
Key Cutting Table
Craft the Key Cutting Table using the Smithing Table pattern, but replace the two iron ingots with copper ingots:
Copper Ingot | Copper Ingot
Plank | Plank
Plank | Plank
Place an existing named key and a tripwire hook inside the Key Cutting Table to produce a matching duplicate key.
Using a Door
1. Craft and place a lockable door.
2. Enter a name when the naming screen opens.
3. You will receive a matching named key.
4. Hold the matching key and right-click the door to open it.
5. Sneak-right-click with the key to lock or unlock it.
Requirements
- Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2

- Fabric API
Known Limitation
Lockable copper-door variants keep their crafted oxidation appearance. Unwaxed lockable copper doors do not currently oxidize automatically.
