doomsday-remote-4.0.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Doomsday Remote 4.0.0
First public release. Versions 1 to 3 were private test builds, which is why this one starts at 4.
Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric. Needs Fabric API and GeckoLib.
What's in it
- The Doomsday Remote, a handheld controller for eight super-weapons. Each one takes over the camera for a 30 to 90 second cutscene and leaves permanent damage behind: Titan Fist (Z), Heaven-Splitter (V), Singularity Seed (B), Leviathan Fleet (U), Helios Array (H), The Andromeda Spindle (N), Starfall Requiem (K) and Final Protocol: OMEGA (menu only).
- Starfall Requiem, the newest weapon. You watch a war between two alien empires, the Vael and the Kharn, until the Kharn titan's core gets blasted out and falls on your target. It leaves a burning wreck made of real blocks that you can walk through, and Kharn survivors crawl out of it (switch them off with the Survivors toggle).
- A soundtrack for every weapon, split into intro, build-up, drop and outro. The drop lands on the impact frame, with a moment of near silence right before it.
- Impact frames at five levels, from Off to OVERDRIVE (the default), plus hit-stop on big hits and damage numbers.
- Photosensitive mode, offered on the first launch, turns off all strobing and flashing.
- Weapon menu (G) with Power, Damage and Speed sliders for every weapon, and toggles for cutscenes, terrain destruction, quality, screen shake, damage numbers and survivors, plus separate music and effects volume.
- Your own music: drop OGG files into
config/doomsdayremote/music/to replace any weapon's score. - Survival recipe, unlocked the first time you hold a Nether Star.
- Server options: big destruction jobs are spread over several ticks,
allowTerrainDestructionandblocksPerTicklive inconfig/doomsdayremote.json, and ops get/doomsday stopand/doomsday pardon.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- Fabric Loader 0.17.0 or newer
- Fabric API 0.116.0 or newer
- GeckoLib 4.9.x for Fabric 1.21.1
- Java 21
Install it on both the client and the server.
Before you start
- Strobing is on by default (OVERDRIVE). If flashing lights are a problem for you or anyone watching, pick Photosensitive mode on the first-launch screen or later in the menu.
- Terrain damage is permanent and there is no undo. Back up your world first. OMEGA makes a backup by itself; the other weapons don't.
