Doomed 0.3.0 (in progress)
New
-
Variable-quality chemistry now explains the storage vessel it actually needs. The Fluid Barrel is now presented as the Batch Blending Barrel: its tooltip, WITNESS specimen page and JEI chemistry footer explain that it volume-averages purity, chemical carryover and microbial load across compatible lots.
-
Ragdolls can keep tumbling, colliding and breaking instead of dealing one random injury when the flight ends. A thrown body can strike several walls, floors or ceilings, be caught by another blast while airborne, and carry each real impact through the parts of the body that actually led the collision. (WIP)
-
Vision Distortion and Brain Static can now be pushed beyond the authored presentation. Their existing 100% setting remains the default and looks exactly as intended; both sliders now extend to 200% for players who deliberately want a harsher screen.
Fixed
-
The Doomed Gear shortcut no longer assumes every inventory is vanilla. Its Auto placement keeps the familiar portrait position on the ordinary inventory, but moves onto a collision-aware outside rail when Legacy4J or another mod rebuilds the screen, stacking around Curios, Waystones and other visible controls instead of drawing through them. HUD settings can also hide it, force the portrait/right/left placement or apply fine X/Y offsets; the wear-panel keybind remains available if a very small screen has no safe button space.
-
A chemistry machine no longer calls a rejected graded batch merely
OUTPUT BLOCKED. When an attached tank has free room and already contains the same fluid, but refuses the incoming lot solely because its blendable purity or contamination record differs, the machine reports BATCH MISMATCH. Its chemistry-panel details point to the Batch Blending Barrel, and inspecting that graded output or rejection silently unlocks the full WITNESS article without adding chat, toast or actionbar tutorial spam. Full tanks, filtered tanks, different fluids, different solution compositions and arbitrary foreign NBT are not misdiagnosed. -
Brain failure gains a restrained final layer of visual static instead of plateauing halfway to death.
-
The stopped-heart static bed is no longer dramatically louder than the flatline it accompanies.
