# Doom Block 1.0.2 — an improved command and flexible hazard management
In version 1.0.2, the `/doomblock` command has become more convenient and clearer, and managing block mortality has become simpler. Now errors don’t confuse you — they tell you what to fix, and the mod works more reliably under load.
## ✅ What’s improved
- **Smart argument validation.**If you forget to enter one of the three radius values (for example, write `/doomblock 5 10`), the mod won’t throw a bunch of incomprehensible errors; instead, it will clearly state: “one value is missing.”
- **Clear success notification.** A message is sent to the chat with precise information: how many blocks are activated, whether damage is enabled, and what the range is. Available in Russian and English.
- **Stable message sending.**The technical issue with the `sendSuccess` method in NeoForge 1.21.1 has been fixed — messages are delivered reliably, and the game doesn’t crash even under heavy load.
## 🎮 New game rule: `blockKillsEntities`
Now you can globally enable and disable block damage with a single command:
```/gamerule blockKillsEntities true```
or
```/gamerule blockKillsEntities false```
- true: anyone who steps on a Doom Block is instantly killed — classic danger.
false: the blocks behave as usual (they activate, look and work as expected), but they don’t deal damage.
- This is convenient for:
testing traps without constant deaths;
beautiful structures with a “danger effect” but without real risk;
flexible challenges — you can turn the threat on and off as needed.
## 💡 Tip: when building and setting up traps, keep blockKillsEntities = false — this will save time. When everything is ready, switch to true and start the real challenge.
