# Custom Mod License

This Minecraft mod, including its source code, assets, documentation, and all other included files (collectively referred to as "the Mod"), is protected by copyright.

## 1. Permissions

You may:

* Download and use the Mod for personal use or on private servers.
* Modify the Mod for your own use.
* Create and publicly distribute modified versions of the Mod, provided that:

* You clearly identify your version as unofficial or modified.
* You give visible credit to the original author.
* You include a copy of this license with your distribution.

## 2. Restrictions

You may not:

* Include the original or modified Mod in any **publicly distributed** modpack without prior written permission from the copyright holder.
* Sell, license, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit the Mod or any modified version.
* Place the Mod or any modified version behind a paywall or require payment to access it.
* Claim authorship of the original Mod or remove existing copyright notices.

## 3. Attribution

Any publicly distributed modified version must include a notice substantially similar to:

## 4. Ownership

All rights not expressly granted by this license remain with the copyright holder.

## 5. Private Modpacks

Private modpacks created solely for personal use or for use among friends, family, or members of a private server are permitted, provided they are **not publicly distributed or made available for download by the general public**.

## 6. License Version

Future releases of the Mod may be distributed under updated license terms. Each released version of the Mod remains governed by the license that accompanied that version unless explicitly stated otherwise.
