---Fixes---
I realized I used a D6 instead of a D20 so there we go, now we have a D20.
Fixed the PlayerTripping mechanic, I will talk about it later on.
I realized that the voices were playing at a standard point and if the player moved too fast the voiceline would be left behind. I fixed it by adding a few lines of code that make the voiceline follow the player constantly.
The voicelines were audible for all the players around (16 blocks radius), I changed that and now only the player that triggered the event hear the voiceline.
---New Triggers---
***Sculk trigger**
When a player triggers a sculk sensor the DM will say: "Careful not to sneeze"
There is also a 1 in 5 chance that the DM will sneeze and the player will receive blindness and a loud sculk sound will be played.
***Structure reactions***
When a player enters or sees a structure for the first time, the DM will react to it.
Included structures: Desert temple, Jungle Temple, Igloo, Swamp Hut, Pillager Outpost, Woodland Mansion, Ocean Monument, Stronghold, Ancient City, Mineshaft, Village, Shipwreck, Ocean Ruins, Nether Fortress, Bastion, EndCity, Ruined Portal and Trail Ruins
***Golem Killer Reaction***
When killing a golem in a village the DM will react. It has a cooldown so it won't spam the reaction if you decide to murder all of them.
***Reactions for when players trip***
As you might already know, there is a simple, yet funny, DM reaction for when the player is tripping (sprinting and suddenly you receive slowness)
I realized it was quite problematic since sometimes the sound would play by itself but with no event happening (it was because the client side cooldown and server side cooldown were seeing different numbers so sometimes one would trigger while the other would just do nothing), also a bit annoying since it was only one voice line for an event that could happen pretty often.
Here are the changes:
-Normal tripping (when the player is sprinting on ground) = 20 Voicelines + slowness (The voicelines will be chosen at random between all of them and they will not be repeated until all of them are played)
-Swiming = 5 voice lines, same mechanic as the normal tripping
-Flying = 5 voice lines, same mechanic as the normal tripping
-Stairs = 1 voice line, you receive 1 heart of damage when it triggers, but only if you have more than two hearts.
How it works: cooldown 1 minute after it triggers, I can modify it pretty easy so in case it's too repetitive let me know, 10% change to trigger when sprinting/swimming/flying/going up the stairs.
DISCLAIMER: I know the voice lines and the text that shows are different but that is on purpose, some voice lines are pretty long and I didn't like how they looked on screen. For every type of trigger ( one of the 4) you will receive a different text but in total they have 31 voicelines so just listen for now :)), I will change it later on if people like the subtitles for the voicelines better.
---New Items---
***Netherite Dice***
New dice, looks pretty calm and needs a little boost in order to work.
You can receive the recipe when you get a netherite block
***Lightning Dice***
Basically, this is the activated Netherite Dice. This thing is a lot more powerful than the Loaded Dice so be careful with it.
It has a cooldown of 10 minutes and the effects go like this:
Roll Outcome
1 “CRITICAL FAILURE” title, Darkness 30s. Four seconds later a warden spawns 6 blocks ahead, with Resistance III for 10 minutes and persistence on so it doesn’t
despawn.
2 Three lightning bolts around you (not on you), Fire Resistance, and a thunderstorm
3 Two vindicators ambush you
4 Wither and Blindness, 10s
5 Hunger III, Nausea, and Slowness II
6 A charged creeper spawns 5 blocks away
7 Mining Fatigue III and Weakness II, 60s
8 Teleported 50 to 150 blocks away
9 Midnight with a thunderstorm, world-wide
10 Nothing
11 Levitation, then Slow Falling for 30s
12 Speed III and Jump Boost III, 60s
13 4 golden apples and Regeneration II
14 16 cooked beef and Saturation
15 Haste II and Night Vision, 2 minutes
16 8 diamonds
17 A totem of undying and Absorption III
18 30 levels
19 2 enchanted golden apples
20 A lightning bolt that heals you instead of hurting you, plus Strength III, Speed II, Regeneration III, Resistance II, Hero of the Village, a netherite ingot, a totem, and a gold “NATURAL 20!” title
***Ultimate Dice***
I wanted to have something special and dangerous so I added this one :)). You get the recipe when you get the lightning dice. The cooldown is 30 minutes.
Since I wanted something that can either traumatise you or make you a god, there is the list:
Roll Outcome
1 Two resisted wardens (Resistance IV) spawn 6 blocks in front of and behind you 4 seconds later, with Darkness and a thunderstorm
2 The DM deletes all your diamonds, netherite ingots and emeralds, plus Weakness
3 War party: 2 vindicators, an evoker and a ravager
4 Plague: Wither II, Poison II, Blindness and Nausea
5 Bad Omen V, Bad Luck II and Mining Fatigue (villages will be hostile)
6 Hunger V, Weakness III and Slowness III
7 Teleported 500 to 1500 blocks away
8 Midnight, a long thunderstorm, and Darkness
9 Every non-player mob within 30 blocks gets Strength IV, Speed III and Resistance III for 2 minutes
10 Nothing
11 Berserker: Strength III, Resistance II, Speed II and Haste II for 90s
12 8 golden apples and 32 steak
13 Diamond pickaxe with Efficiency V, Unbreaking III and Fortune III
14 Netherite chestplate with Protection IV, Unbreaking III and Mending
15 Enchanted elytra and 32 rockets
16 32 diamonds, 32 emeralds and 32 gold
17 100 levels and 2 totems
18 8 netherite ingots
19 3 friendly iron golems and Regeneration III
20 Ascension: for exactly 5 minutes you get Resistance V (practically immune), Strength IV, Speed III, Haste III, Regeneration III, Health Boost V, Absorption V, Jump Boost III, Night Vision, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing and Hero of the Village. It also gives a lightning bolt, instant daytime and clear weather, 50 levels, 3 totems, 4 netherite ingots, an enchanted elytra, and a gold “ASCENSION” title.
---Advancements---
Obviously, I added advancements for the new items.
---Side Notes---
I know the image for the ultimate dice is a bit different, I kinda like it for now but I might change it later on.
I have a whole list of things that I want to add, so far I am not even halfway through and I am happy about how it turns out so far.
That was quite a beefy update, took some time to finish everything up. Hope you guys like the changes.
See ya in the next one!
TranqiB left the game.
