DivineTorch — Magical Spawn Protection

DivineTorch is a Minecraft Java 1.21.1 mod for NeoForge that introduces a powerful magical torch designed to protect your server's spawn area from hostile mobs.

Once placed, the DivineTorch establishes a 15 × 15 chunk protection zone, covering 225 chunks (240 × 240 blocks). Hostile mobs cannot naturally spawn inside the protected area or cross its boundaries, creating a safe environment for players to build, explore, and prepare for their adventures.

✨ Features

• RGB Beacon Beam: A bright, continuously shifting RGB beam transitions smoothly between red, green, blue, and intermediate colors, making the DivineTorch visible from a considerable distance.

• Visual Protection Barrier: Displays the four boundaries of the protected region using a translucent, preferably RGB-colored effect. The visualization can be activated on demand and disappears automatically after a configurable duration.

• Hostile Mob Protection: Prevents hostile mobs from spawning inside the protected area and blocks them from entering across its boundaries, while allowing players and permitted entities to move freely.

• Automatic Spawn Generation: The first DivineTorch is automatically generated at a safe position near the initial spawn point when the first player joins the main world. Only one automatic spawn torch is created per world.

• Restricted Breaking: The DivineTorch can only be broken through normal gameplay using a netherite pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch.

• Persistent Protection: Protection data is saved across server restarts, player disconnections, deaths, respawns, and chunk unloading.

• Multiplayer Support: Server-authoritative protection keeps the mechanics consistent for all players, while client-side rendering handles visual effects when necessary.

• Performance Optimization: The mod avoids permanent barrier entities, unnecessary chunk loading, and excessive network updates.
