This Mod allows you to use Distant Horizons with Vulkan Mod giving Minecraft a big FPS boost
we are aiming to use this mod to be released on Fabric 1.20.1+ with better features and compatiblity
How we Tested:
We have done a test with our mod and without our Mod. when im not using our mod it uses the loader OpenGL and with our mod it uses the Vulkan API (but you need to install Vulkan as it is a dependency) which is 10 times faster. On the Graph we compared V0.5 of our mod and without the mod. We have Tested Average and Highest. The test uses Distant horizons with render distance of 90 and render distance of 8 chinks on both tests. Im also using Intel iris XE graphics. With the test we gave each version 2 minutes to load the chunks properly and measure the average and peak FPS for one minute. With OpenGL, The Average FPS was: 71.6 whereas the peak was: 79FPS. Now with Vulkan and with our mod the average was: 107.3 whereas the peak was: 122. Thats a Huge difference. Now you can play on older Pc's on newer versions.
