DISPERSION 1.2.0 โ€” COMBAT UPDATE

DISPERSION 1.2.0 is a major update focused on combat, classes, progression, and the overall gameplay experience.

The biggest change in this version is the complete migration from Minecraft 1.16.5 to Minecraft 1.20.1.

The mod's codebase has been reworked and optimized, while the core gameplay systems have been adapted to the new Minecraft version and a large number of issues have been fixed.

๐Ÿš€ MINECRAFT 1.20.1 MIGRATION

DISPERSION now runs on:

  • Minecraft 1.20.1

  • Forge 47.x

The previous Minecraft 1.16.5 version is no longer the main supported version.

The migration included major changes to:

  • internal mod systems;

  • ability handling;

  • player data;

  • UI systems;

  • combat events;

  • server-side logic.

This provides a much stronger foundation for future DISPERSION updates.

๐Ÿง™ NEW CLASSES

Two completely new classes have been added in DISPERSION 1.2.0.

Neither of them existed in the previous public version.

๐Ÿ”ฑ Titan

A new combat-oriented class focused on:

  • high durability;

  • both close-range and long-range abilities;

  • unique combat mechanics.

Titan makes its debut in DISPERSION 1.2.0.

๐Ÿชž Illusionist

A new class built around creating and using illusions.

Features include:

  • creating illusions;

  • controlling additional combat entities;

  • a unique combat style;

  • special interactions between illusions and enemies.

Illusionist makes its debut in DISPERSION 1.2.0.

โค๏ธ BASE PLAYER HEALTH

Base player health has been reduced:

20 HP โ†’ 10 HP

A larger portion of a player's maximum health is now obtained through:

  • Strength;

  • equipment;

  • class mechanics;

  • other bonuses.

This makes attribute allocation more important from the very beginning of the game.

๐Ÿงฌ ATTRIBUTES

Endurance

Base health regeneration from Endurance has been increased:

0.03 โ†’ 0.04 HP/sec per point.

โš”๏ธ ARTAS

Berserker Form

The self-damage mechanic has been completely removed.

Artas no longer loses:

10% of his current HP every 5 seconds

while Berserker Form is active.

Level 30.1 Talent โ€” "Soul Rush"

Added:

Full immunity to fire and lava damage.

Breth also gains:

40% magical lifesteal.

  • explosion radius: 5 blocks.

After the explosion, a field of Hellfire remains:

  • radius: 5 blocks;

  • duration: 8 seconds;

  • damage per second: 1/4 of the explosion damage.

If a target dies to the Hellfire field, another explosion occurs and creates a new field.

50.2 โ€” "Flame Punishment"

โš”๏ธ FURY

The additional pure damage cannot trigger the passive again.
