I will refrain from telling too much about the mod for the sake of spoilers but here's a basic rundown of how the mod works.
all but one of the structures are above ground and as long as you get a basic set of tools you're fully capable of doing all the content in the mod and all of the structures are designed to be clear-able using your brain more than your brawn. that being said most of the progression in the mod is based on upgrading your sword through a tree of 11 swords most of which have an effect when you right click(so try right clicking with every item you get.)
