Discovery JEI turns JEI into a progression and discovery system instead of showing the entire game from the moment you start.
Unknown items are hidden from the JEI item list until you encounter them naturally during gameplay. When you discover a new item, related recipes and possible crafting outputs are gradually revealed, allowing your recipe knowledge to grow alongside your adventure.
Instead of opening JEI on day one and immediately seeing thousands of items from every installed mod, Discovery JEI encourages you to explore, loot, experiment, and learn about the world naturally.
