On the left is a 9x9x9 cube of the Mineral Block next to that is a single block and on the blue wool are the tools: Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Sword, and Hoe.
Crafting recipes for the Pickaxe and Axe.
To craft the Sword you will need 2 Athan Ingots, and 1 Obsidian Rod.
To craft the Shovel you will need 1 Athan Ingot, and 2 Obsidian Rods.
To craft the Hoe you will need 2 Athan Ingots, and 2 Obsidian Rods.
To craft the Athan Ore you will need 1 Iron Ore, 1 Coal, 1 Dirt, and 1 Cobblestone.
To craft the Axe you will need 3 Athan Ingots, and 2 Obsidian Rods.

Description
This is Dirty Diamonds and the first mod I've made, it allows you to make diamonds from dirt after a process of smelting and crafting, it is currently only offered for MC 1.7.10. however I am currently working on a version for MC 1.8. I also am not a graphics person so if anyone would like to donate their time to creating new textures for the mod, ill be happy to check them out and if I use them Ill of course give you the accreditation for textures.
This mod adds:
a new ore currently called Athan Ore which can only be found in the nether which makes Athan Ingots when smelted.
Athan Tools as well as a Sword made from Athan Ingots, these are a little OP but even more so when you wear my entire Armor Set.
an Obsidian Rod Made just like the stick except with Obsidian Blocks, used to craft the tools and sword
an Igneous Rock Fragment used to craft an Igneous Rock
an Igneous Rock is used to craft the Athan Ore
and a Diamond Shard used to craft Diamonds.
All crafting recipes are in the images.
The Process to make Diamonds:
The process to make diamonds is easier then finding them but still a little difficult.
- You will need a Furnace, you will use this to smelt Dirt Blocks into Igneous Rock Fragments.
- You will need 9 Igneous Rock Fragments to craft the Igneous Rock.
- After crafting the Igneous Rock, you will need 1 block of Iron Ore, 1 piece of coal, 1 block of Dirt, and 1 block of Cobblestone to craft the Athan Ore.
- Now you may be thinking why would I go to the nether to try and find the ore when I can craft it, well simply because it uses a lot more resources to craft then to mine it. Think of it as once you reach a point to wear you have diamonds or my tools it will be easier for you to go and mine it, sorta like a prize for getting that far.
- Now that you have the Athan Ore crafted (or mined) you'll need to smelt it to make the Athan Ingots, now...you if you only have the options between my tools and weapons and the original tools and weapons, you will probably want to use mine. However because they are stronger and mine faster and deal more damage making them more wanted I had to make them slightly harder to obtain. So you will need Obsidian which at this point (unless you already have diamond tools) is going to be nearly impossible to get without a Diamond pick or my Athan Pick.
- If you do not have any Diamond tools yet then making the Diamonds is the only way you will be able to obtain my tools because they use the Obsidian rod to craft them instead of sticks, because of this it kinda forces you to find or make the Diamonds first so you can mine the Obsidian.
- However you might not be able to obtain my tools you can make my Armor which gives you a lot of upgrades, they are crafted with the same crafting recipes as normal armor except with the Athan Ore. If you wear all 4 pieces of my Armor you will definitely be able to obtain Obsidian fairly quickly that is if you can find it....or make it with lava and water.
