# Dirt Slabs

**Slabs and stairs for grass and dirt that work like the real blocks. Plant on them, farm on them, and watch grass grow on them.**

## Blocks

Slabs and stairs for:
- Grass Block
- Dirt
- Coarse Dirt
- Rooted Dirt
- Dirt Path

Plus a **Farmland Slab** for growing crops.

## They behave like the real thing

- **Grass color** changes with the biome, just like a normal grass block
- **Grass spreads** onto dirt slabs and stairs, and dies back to dirt when covered
- **Shovel** turns grass and dirt slabs/stairs into dirt path
- **Hoe** turns grass and dirt slabs into farmland slabs
- **Farmland slabs** get wet near water, dry out, and turn back to dirt if you jump on them
- **Silk Touch** keeps grass and path; without it you get dirt

## Plants sit right on half blocks

Flowers, grass, saplings and crops placed on a **bottom slab** sit on the slab instead of floating in the air. Works with **Sodium** too.

## Grass Cutter

A new workstation that works like a stonecutter: put in grass or dirt and get **2 slabs** or **1 stairs**, cheaper than crafting.

**Recipe:** shears on top, 3 planks of any wood below.
