Adds a customizable Dire-Wolf Origin with enhanced physical abilities, transformation mechanics, darkvision, and silver and wolfsbane weaknesses.
Direwolf Origins is a Minecraft Forge mod that adds a custom Dire-Wolf Origin built around fast, aggressive survival gameplay with meaningful supernatural weaknesses.
Dire-Wolves gain enhanced strength and agility, reduced fall damage, slight knockback resistance, improved nutrition from raw meat, and a toggleable transformed state that provides additional physical power at the cost of increased hunger. They also gain Night Vision in dark environments.
Their strengths come with serious drawbacks. Dire-Wolves are vulnerable to:
- silver weapons
- silver-coated weapons
- silver armor
- wolfsbane carried in the inventory
- nearby wolfsbane
- wolfsbane diffusers
The mod is designed to integrate with the existing silver and wolfsbane content from Werewolves and Vampirism.
