Diorama 0.6.0 for Forge 1.20.1
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Diorama 0.6.0 runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, lets you draw on the map, save it as an image and keep several maps per dimension, and fixes two crashes with other mods.
New
- Forge 1.20.1. Diorama now runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge.
- Draw on the map. A pencil button on the map gives you a pen, straight lines, filled areas and text notes, plus a measuring tool that reads distance and direction. Drawings also show on the minimap unless you turn that off.
- Save the map as an image. Export an area you pick, or the whole map, as a PNG. Your drawings are included.
- Several maps per dimension. A Maps button on the map makes, switches, renames and deletes maps, so one server or world can have separate maps. The map in use is named in the corner.
- Waypoint icons. Pick an icon for a waypoint instead of letters. Your bed gets a pin of its own.
- Waypoint initials of up to four letters.
- Waypoint distance setting. Show only waypoints within a distance, on the screen and the minimap.
- Enlarge minimap key. Hold it for a bigger minimap. It has no key until you set one.
- Minimap opacity setting (thanks to bottledpepsi).
- FTB Chunks claims show on the map and minimap.
- Radar settings for the minimap and the full map separately.
- Teleport command setting for servers that don't have
/tp. - Settings to hide the map's Waypoints and Settings buttons and its Add waypoint items.
- Russian and Belarusian translations (thanks to Gazmanovich).
Changes
- The minimap hides under every screen except chat, and during Cobblemon battles.
- Waypoints in the world draw under the HUD and screens, not over them.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash on joining a world with some mod combinations, such as Macaw's Regions Unexplored with Regions Unexplored 0.6.3.
- Fixed a crash when opening the cave map over blocks a mod creates on the fly, such as Epic Fight's cracked ground. Those blocks now show on the map as the block they belong to.
- Less stutter on 1.21.8 and older when many chunks change at once, for example when a Create contraption moves, especially with Lithium installed.
- Fixed a freeze when crossing dimensions with Immersive Portals.
- With Xaero's mods installed, the map now picks up the level IDs servers send, so each server world keeps its own map.
- The right-click menu works on map areas drawn by Diorama 0.3.0 or older.
- Waypoints and map markers no longer jitter as you move (thanks to LegendarySpy).
- The map's status line no longer runs under its Waypoints and Settings buttons.
