Diorama 0.3.0 for 26.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Diorama 0.3.0 adds optional GPU map rendering, a redesigned interface, and fixes to how blocks, fluids, and the Nether appear.
Faster map rendering
Turn on GPU baking in Settings > Look to let your graphics card draw map tiles. This is experimental and off by default. Diorama checks the GPU's first tiles against the CPU renderer and falls back to the CPU if they don't match.
Rendering fixes
- Modded fluids and biomes use their own colors.
- Fences, stairs, slabs, and small Create blocks show their actual shapes.
- The Nether has biome-colored fog, lighting below the bedrock roof, and clearer terrain.
- Improved shadows and shading where blocks meet, including in sunlight.
- Fixed waterlogged block updates and rendering after resource reloads.
New interface
- Standing waypoint pins, a voxel player arrow, and Minecraft-style radar icons.
- Redesigned settings with tabs and a live minimap preview.
- New map controls, Surface and Caves tabs, and a cave depth gauge.
- Searchable waypoint lists, folders, and an editor with a live pin preview.
- Right-click the map to add temporary waypoints, share a location, or teleport if you have permission.
- Fullscreen map keys can be rebound. The default minimap is smaller.
Compatibility and fixes
- Discovered Waystones and Sharestones appear on the map and in a Waystones folder when Waystones is installed.
- Realms maps use the Realm's ID so an address change doesn't separate a Realm from its saved map.
- The fullscreen map respects the Caves underground setting.
- Removed the Depth shading setting.
Choose the file for your Minecraft version and loader. Fabric requires Fabric API; NeoForge does not.
