THE PROFESSOR

-Experimental

-Non-Hostile (for now)

 

AMBER

-Can be crafted into armour or tools.

-Amber can also be used to make a gem, a block or a brick.

 

THE BREAKTHROUGH

-Spawns with Dragonwood Trees

-Spawns with purple vegetation modifiers.

-Does not spawn as an island for the moment (aiming to be released in Beta 9)

-Features dragongrass blocks.

-Purple water & fog.

-Has an increased weight of dinosaur spawns.

 

DRAGONWOOD SCRAP

-Craft by using dragonwood planks in a "Z" formation.

-Use to craft dragonwood tools.

 

DINO EGGS

-Either normal or incubated forms.

-Currently obtainable in survival.

 

OTHER CHANGES

-Altered dinosaur pathfinding AI.

-Retextured Dino Feather.

-Retextured Enlightened Skeleton Dagger.

-Added tons more crafting recipes.

-Added loot tables for fossilised stone.

-Added recipes for dinosteel.

-Added loot tables and recipes for dragonwood items & blocks.

-Altered the spawn weight of dinosaurs.

-Changed Dragonwood properties.

-Added Simplified Chinese

-Changed theropod spawn egg colours.

 

Known bugs: -Currently, you cannot use dinocraft pickaxes to mine Amber, Bronzium or Skeleton ores. This will be fixed in V8.1.

 

Beta 8.1 WILL be for 1.18.2, however the Biome API is currently unstable so we are looking for ways to properly implement it.
