Description
This mod is designed for modpacks with certain gameplay mechanics (such as Aftershock, Distortion, etc.), aiming to solve the issue where players might stay in dimensions other than the Overworld for extended periods to escape attacks in the Overworld. This mod ensures that these Overworld-focused gameplay mechanics can be enjoyed as originally intended, while also expanding exploration and challenges.
Introduction
Dimension Potion is a mod designed for Minecraft, aimed at adding survival challenges when exploring other dimensions.
Core Mechanic
When players enter dimensions other than the Overworld (such as the Nether, End), they will take half a heart of damage per second until they drink a dimension potion to gain immunity.

Effect Icon

Gameplay
Survival Strategy
- Early Game: Craft Tier I potions with iron ingots for 10 seconds of immunity, enough for safe Nether portal travel
- Mid Game: Gradually upgrade potions to explore deeper into the Nether and End
- Late Game: Craft high-tier potions for extended immunity to freely explore all dimensions
Notes
- Damage type is magic damage, cannot be reduced by armor
- Potion duration is displayed in item tooltip
- Empty glass bottle is returned after drinking

游戏体验
生存策略
- 初期：用铁锭合成1级药水，获得10秒免疫时间，足够安全进出下界传送门
- 中期：逐步升级药水，探索更深的下界和末地
- 后期：合成高等级药水，获得长时间免疫，自由探索所有维度
注意事项
- 伤害类型为魔法伤害，无法通过护甲减免
- 药水效果持续时间在物品提示中显示
- 喝完药水后会返还空玻璃瓶
