DimensionBlocker

DimensionBlocker is a server-side NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that gives server owners and administrators control over access to The Nether and The End.

Lock dimensions during server events, progression stages, maintenance, custom seasons, or whenever you want to control when players can access powerful dimensions.

Features

• 🔒 Lock The Nether — Prevent normal players from entering The Nether.

• 🔒 Lock The End — Prevent normal players from entering The End.

• 🔓 Unlock Dimensions — Allow everyone to enter a dimension again.

• 👑 OP Bypass — Operators with permission level 2 or higher can enter locked dimensions.

• ⏱️ Unlock Timers — Automatically unlock a dimension after a set amount of real-world time.

• 💾 Persistent Timers — Timer information is saved and continues after the server restarts.

• ⏳ Flexible Durations — Supports seconds, minutes, hours, and days.

• 📢 Player Messages — Players are informed when a dimension is locked and, when a timer is active, how long remains until it unlocks.

• ⚙️ Server-Side — Designed to run on the server without requiring players to install the mod.

Locks The End.

/dimensionblocker end on
Unlocks The End.

/dimensionblocker end timer 30s
Locks The End and automatically unlocks it after 30 seconds.

The Nether

/dimensionblocker nether off
Locks The Nether.

/dimensionblocker nether on
Unlocks The Nether.

/dimensionblocker nether timer 2d
Locks The Nether and automatically unlocks it after 2 days.

Timer Formats

DimensionBlocker supports flexible timer formats such as:

• 30s — 30 seconds

• 10m — 10 minutes

• 2h — 2 hours

• 2d — 2 days

• 2d12h30m — 2 days, 12 hours, and 30 minutes

Timers use real-world elapsed time, rather than Minecraft game ticks, and continue counting while the server is running.

Permissions

DimensionBlocker uses Minecraft's operator permission levels.

Players with permission level 2 or higher can use the DimensionBlocker commands and bypass dimension locks.

Regular players cannot enter a dimension while it is locked.
